Frank L. McKinnon Award

The recipient of the 2012 Frank L. McKinnon Award is Mark Diboll of Portage Collegiate. Mark began his teaching and coaching career at R.D. Parker Collegiate in Thompson in 1982, and moved to Portage in 1996. As principal at Arthur Meighan and later as part of the Administration team at the amalgamated Portage Collegiate, Mark was a true supporter of high school sport, and was instrumental in the creation of the Trojans Football program. Mark has been a board member of the Manitoba High Schools Athletic Association and chair of several committees. He is an outstanding volunteer and leader in Manitoba school sport.
