Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

This 5’5” guard led her team to a KPAC Championships and a spot in the Milk “AAAA” Final Four. Throughout the year she averaged 14 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 assists per game. She was named the #8 ranked player in the annual Winnipeg Sun Top Ten Poll and was a provincial all-star. She also received all-star recognition at the Pembina Trails and Miles Macdonell tournaments, and was named tournament MVP of the River East tournament. Coach Karl Schroeder states, “Suzy is one of the go to players on our team. She is among the best shooters in the province but also can penetrate and is an excellent passer. She has a real passion for the game and works hard at every practice. She is a positive leader on our team”.
