Grey Cup Legacy Male and Female Coach of the Year

Murray has been teaching and coaching for 26 years, and has been a member of the MHSAA Board for 8 years. Murray’s girls’ basketball teams have appeared in 24 consecutive Provincial “AAAA” Championships, winning in 1998, 1999, 2004 and in 2013 while also adding three Silver medals to the collection. This season, they had an undefeated 33-0 record. Murray has also been recognized by the Basketball Coaches Association as Coach of the Year in 1998 and 2013. Murray will receive a $2000.00 prize courtesy of the Grey Cup legacy Fund.
