Peter Dick- Steinbach Regional School Peter was and is an outstanding supporter and contributor to sports at all levels.  For almost 30 years he has served as a coach, official and volunteer, focusing the majority of his time at Steinbach Regional Secondary School.  Peter spent 26 years coaching the Steinbach Sabres sports teams and achieved many successes with his athletes.  He coached badminton for 24 years, volleyball for 23 years, softball for 10 years and track and field for 5 years.  Some of his accomplishments include gold medal singles and double performances in badminton and 5 Provincial High School Volleyball Championships.  Off the playing field, Peter has spent countless hours in boardrooms and at meetings.  He was instrumental in the development of the Manitoba High Schools Athletic Association (MHSAA) and served on the MHSAA board a total of 18 years.  He served as President from 1979-81 and again in 1984-85, as well as terms as secretary, and as a member at large.
