(Garden City, Dakota Collegiate) – The name Dale Bradshaw is synonymous with High School Basketball in the Province.  The “Dean” as he is commonly referred to, spent 40 years in coaching and has mentored 80 – 100 former players to become coaches.  His teams made it to the Provincial Championships seventeen times, winning five.  He has also coached the Provincial Jr. Men’s Team and won a gold medal at the 1979 Western Canada Games and Bronze at the 1982 and 1983 Jr. National Championships.  In 1972 – 1973 and again in 1982 he served as an apprentice/assistant coach with the Canadian National Team. His teams at Dakota were always known for their intensity and knowledge of the game.  Dale is a past president of the Manitoba Basketball Coaches Association, a Master Course Conductor for Basketball Canada as well as an NCCP level 1 – 3 basketball and theory course conductor. An author, Bradshaw has written the MABA technical program for Manitoba Provincial teams and for the textbook series, Team Concepts in Basketball. He has been a member of the MHSAA seeding committee and top ten ranking committee.
