Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

This 6’0” mixed doubles player along with his partner have won gold in each tournament they have entered this year. The tournaments they have won include the Gimli, Louis Riel and Carman tournaments. Coach James Ballantyne states, “Bill is very dedicated to the sport of badminton. He is focused and works hard in practices and is a great example to our other players on what it takes to be successful. In games he is very consistent, never gets rattled and that is a major part of his team’s success”. This grade 12 student maintains an 87% average, while also participating in hockey.
