Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

Skylar Boulanger of the University of Winnipeg Collegiate Wesmen basketball team is this week’s Home Run Sports Urban High School athlete of the week. This 5’11” post was named the MVP of the 2012 Provincial “AAA” Basketball Championships, where she led her team to the gold medal. She led her team throughout the year in scoring, rebounds and blocks. Coach JoAnne Small states, “Skylar has worked extremely hard all year. Her dedication and commitment have helped her become one of the top players in the province. She plays hard, never gives up and is an excellent role model for everyone on the team”. In grade 11, she maintains an average of 73% and also competes in track & field.
