Frank L. McKinnon Award

Fred Stevenson of St. John’s Ravenscourt School.  Fred retires this year, ending a 35-year career as a physical education teacher, coach and leader.  He has coached the high school hockey team at Ravenscourt since 1974, and also coaches track, cross-country and badminton.  His teams captured the Provincial “AAAA” High School Hockey Championship the last two season, and Fred is often referred to as the “Guru” of high school hockey in Winnipeg.  He provides a tremendous amount of leadership and guidance to league organization, and administration.
