Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

Christina Posthumus of the Kildonan East Reivers Basketball team is this week’s Home Run Sports Urban High School athlete of the week. This 6’2” forward was an all-star at the Daniel McIntyre, Lord Selkirk and Transcona tournaments, while also earning MVP honors at the Kildonan East Tournament. She is averaging 25 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists per game. Coach Lloyd Celones states, “Christina is instrumental in her team’s success and works hard at making those around her better on the court”. In grade 12, she maintains an average of 96% and also competes in volleyball and soccer.
