Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

Tyler Linklater of the Springfield Sabres Basketball team is this week’s Home Run Sports Urban High School athlete of the week. This 6’1” guard is his team’s leading scorer. In their last five games he averaged 17 points and 6 blocks per game, contributing to more than half of the team’s points. Coach Duane Jarvis states, “Tyler keeps our team focused and playing hard even when playing against top KPAC teams. He is our leading scorer and also leads the team in blocks and works hard in all games and practices”. In grade 12, he maintains an average of 72%, while also participating in volleyball.
