Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

Leah Olsen of the Fort Richmond Centurions hockey team is this week’s Home Run Sports Urban High School athlete of the week. This 5’7” center helped lead her team to the quarter-finals of the “A” Division in the Winnipeg Women’s High School Hockey League. In the regular season she averaged better than a point a game with 17 goals and 11 assists in 20 games. Coach Mace Mazur states, “Leah always gives 110% no matter how she is feeling that day. Her efforts are contagious and the other players feed off it”. In grade 12, she maintains an average of 91%.
