Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

Montana Kinzel of the Linden Christian Wings basketball team is this week’s Home Run Sports Urban High School athlete of the week. This 5’11” guard is the Wings leading scorer and helped lead her team to the Provincial “AAA” Girls Basketball Championship. For her efforts during the season she was named MVP of the Red River Shoot Out and Provincial Championships. Coach Manfred Glor states, “Montana has an excellent work ethic and will put in extra time to work on her game. She shows great leadership by the way she plays and how hard she works. She has a very good understanding of the game”. In grade 11, she maintains an average of 88%, while also competing in cross-country, volleyball, and track & field.
