Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

This 5’4” runner won all her zone races and was first overall at the Provincial Cross Country Championships.  Her strong effort also helped lead her Grant Park team to a third place finish at Provincials, the first time in 10 years the school has placed in the medals.  Coach Glenn Bruce states, “Jennie is a hard working athlete and student who leads by example. Jennie brings energy to the team everyday when we practice and compete, and cheers for all of her teammates regardless if they come first or last. She is a productive citizen who is well respected and liked by her teammates and teachers at Grant Park High School”.

This grade 10 student maintains an 87% average, while also participating in track & field.
