Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

This 5’7” setter/libero led the Raiders JV team to a Provincial Championship being named the Championship MVP for her efforts.  She followed that up this past weekend by helping the Raiders Varsity team to a silver medal finish at the “AA” Provincials in Steinbach, where she earned Player of the Game honors in their match versus Niverville.  Coach Dean Kachur states, “Ciara is the hardest working athlete you could ever find. She is a perfectionist and expects and delivers nothing but her best every practice, game, and tournament. She is also one of the most likeable teammates that you could find, and every coaches dream athlete. Her athleticism is amazing and she makes her position look really easy”.

This grade 10 student maintains a 90% average, while also participates in fastpitch.
