Payworks Coach of the Month

Kyla Michalski of Lord Selkirk Regional School has been selected as SUBWAY Urban Coach of the Month for November.  Kyla recently led her JV girls volleyball team to the Provincial AAA / AAAA Championship.  They defeated the St. Mary's Flames in 3 sets, 22-25, 25-19 and 15-11 in Virden.  The girls had an amazing season which included going undefeated in KPAC, earning 1st place in 4 tournaments and finally capturing the provincial title.  The girls' season record was 50 games won and 1 game lost.  Kyla is in her second year as a teacher at Lord Selkirk and this was her first year as JV Girls VB coach.  A former KPAC volleyball player herself, Kyla always brings enthusiasm and dedication to her coaching.  She also coaches indoor and outdoor track and field.
