Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

This 5’10” defenseman has 10 goals and 24 assists in 18 games to help lead the Colts to first place in the Westman High School Hockey League.  He is the Colts Captain and was named a league all-star this season.  Coach Matt Palmer states, “Ty Moffatt has served as the team captain for the Deloraine/Hartney Colts this year, and has been a fantastic ambassador for our program both on and off of the ice throughout this season. We have been fortunate to be ranked at or near the top of the A/AA rankings throughout the season, and Ty's leadership has been a huge part of that effort. We would not be the team that we are without Ty's intensity and leadership”.

This grade 12 student maintains a 70% average, while also participating in volleyball.
