Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

Taylor Pischke of the Fort Richmond Centurions is the Home Run Sports Urban Athlete of the Week.  She is a 6 foot left side hitter from Fort Richmond and led her team to a top ten AAAA Ranking in Volleyball.  Coach Kristin Shiach states that, “Taylor is one of the most gifted female athletes I have ever seen.  She is a leader on and off the court, and her competitive spirit comes through in games and practices.” 

Taylor was ranked as the number 5 female high school volleyball player of the year.  She also plays for the school Basketball team, track and field and was a member of the Canada Games Gold Medalist Volleyball Team in Charlottetown this past August.

Taylor is a Grade - 11 student, averaging 94.5%.   She also volunteers as a Morning Nursing Unit Assistant at the Victoria General Hospital.
