Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

Stephanie Kleysen of the Vincent Massey Trojans (Wpg) girl’s basketball team is this weeks Home Run Sports Athlete of the Week.

This 5’7” guard is the Trojans Captain.  She is averaging 20 points, 10 assists, 10 rebounds and has over five steals per game.  Stephanie has received MVP honors at the Sisler and St. Vital tournaments, while earning an All-Star at the Pembina Trails tournament. “She always gives a 110% and is willing to hit the floor or make the play that is needed”, states coach Stacey Hawash, “On top of all that she is a leader on and off the court for her teammates always willing to help out”.

This grade 12 student maintains a 92% average and was a member of Vincent Massey’s provincial finalist volleyball team.
