Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

Megan Hawryluk of the Stonewall Rams soccer team is this week’s Tri-Star Rural High School athlete of the week.

This 5’7” midfielder for the Rams led her team to their first tournament victory in Minnedosa this past Saturday.  She scored two goals in three games while also adding two additional goals in shootout victories over Dauphin and Minnedosa. Coach Charlie Cooke states, “Megan willed our team to victory, despite only having 5 regular starters, one substitute and players away for a variety of reasons. It was truly an amazing performance”.

In her grade 12 year she is maintaining an academic average of 80%.
