Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

Kaitlyn Corbin of the Sturgeon Heights Huskies volleyball team is this week’s Home Run Sports Winnipeg High School athlete of the week. 

This 5’6” left side hitter has been an integral part in the Huskies success this season.  She helped lead her team to a tournament victory at the Seven Oaks tournament and to the tournament finals at the Vincent Massey tournament in Brandon.  She led the team in kills at both tournaments, and in digs at the Vincent Massey tournament.  Coach Peter Roadley states, “She leads by example, never complains and will work as hard as anyone in practice.  A natural leader!”

In her grade 12 year she maintains an academic average of 83%.
