Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

Kendra Bommersbach of the Miles Macdonell Buckeyes volleyball team is this week’s Home Run Sports Urban High School athlete of the week. 

This 5’7” left side captained her team to the Kildonan Peguis Athletic Conference Championship and a spot in the Boston Pizza “AAAA” Volleyball Championships, where she led the team to a Final Four appearance. She was named the Boston Pizza Game Star in the semi-finals against Crocus Plains and was selected as a Provincial All-Star. Coach Nadia Melon states. “Kendra is a very athletic individual, who demands the best from herself. She is very coachable and is a natural leader”.

In her grade 12 year she maintains an academic average of 87%, while also competing in Cross-Country.
