Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

Kevin Falconer of the St. Paul’s Crusaders volleyball team is this week’s Home Run Sports Urban High School athlete of the week. 

This 6’3” left side led his team to the finals of the Boston Pizza “AAAA” Volleyball Championships, earning Provincial All-Star honours for his efforts.  Throughout the year he also received recognition as an all-star at the St. Vital Invitational, as a league all-star for the West Winnipeg Athletic Conference, and was named the # 4 Player in the annual Winnipeg Sun Top Ten Poll.  Coach Lloyd Voth states, “Kevin is a strong player, who brings his best game to important games. In the finals he had his best hitting and serving game of the year, in our biggest game of the year”.

In his grade 12 year he maintains an academic average of 75%.
