Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

Connor Vrooman of Baldur who plays for the Glenboro/Carberry/Baldur Wildcats hockey team is this week’s Tri-Star Rural High School athlete of the week.

This 6’0” center and his team played 5 games in 8 nights this past week winning all five.  During this stretch Vrooman had 4 goals, 16 assists, and was a +11, while also winning 67% of his face-offs.  Coach Corey Forbes states, “Connor is a team leader on and off the ice.  Great kid, with a fantastic work ethic on the ice”.

This grade 12 student maintains an average of 70%, and also competes in cross country, track & field, baseball, and badminton.
