Fred Kelesnik
Fred spent over 30 years as a Phys Ed teacher at Morris School where he was an outstanding teacher and coach. Best known for coaching volleyball (4 provincial “AA” Championships) Fred was a role model for all, treating everyone (coaches, officials and players) with respect. Fred was a MHSAA board member as well as a long time president of Zone 4. Fred coached the Morris School varsity girls volleyball team to Provincial “AA” Championships in 1993-94, 1996-97, 1997-98, and 1999-2000. Among his many other successes are:
2001 – CMEA “Peter Dick” High School Category award recipient
1997 - Josten’s MHSAA Volunteer Award recipient
2000 – Sport Manitoba Volunteer of the Year
Zone 4 President for 25 years
1999 - Frank Mckinnon Award for Outstanding Contribution to High School Athletics
Fred’s coaching history consisted of:
