James had a phenomenal record as a coach during his time at Miles Macdonell Collegiate, which began in the 1965-66 school year. His “Buckeyes” teams won eight provincial 4A varsity boys volleyball championships (6 in 7 years in the mid 70’s) and also two provincial 4A varsity boys basketball championships. This amazing record is a tribute to the time and effort put in, not only by the players, but especially Coach Harrison.
