Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

This 5’10”girls singles player went undefeated through the Provincial High School Badminton Championships to claim her second consecutive Provincial Championship.  Coach Mike Lodewyks states, “I can think of two words when I think of Hanna, effort and determination. Her effort is shown in how hard and how often she practices. Her determination was displayed this past weekend at the provincials. After winning the first game in the final match, she lost the second game convincingly. Digging deep mentally in the third game, she bounced back to win the championship."

These grade 12 student maintains an 83% academic average.
