Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Tire Recycle Rural High School Athlete of the Week is Cailin Enns of the Morden Thunder soccer team.

This 5’6” midfielder scored 4 goals in the Thunders last two games and has 6 goals total for the season.  Coach Braden Boucher states, “Cailin is very coachable, a hard worker, and leads simply by example. She is our go to girl for corner kicks because of her great ability to cross the ball. One of her 6 goals (in 4 games) this year was from a corner kick. She plays the majority of minutes and is one of the best midfielders in the zone, and she is only in grade 10”.

This grade 10 student maintains a 90% average, while also participating in basketball.
