Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

Morgan Cordell of R.D. Parker Trojans badminton team, in Thompson, is this week’s Tri-Star Rural High School athlete of the week. This 6'0" men's doubles player, along with his partner, won the Flin Flon Invitational and most recently finished second at the Gimli tournament this past weekend. Coach Todd Harwood states, "Morgan is a sponge for information. He is one of those athletes that when given feedback he is able to incorporate it into his game almost immediately. He is a really hard worker and that feeds the other athletes on the team to do the same. This grade 12 student maintains an average of 84%, while also competing in volleyball.
