This 5’10” setter led the Flames to an undefeated season, capped off by winning the Provincial “AAAA” Junior Varsity Volleyball Championships, while being named the Provincial MVP. Throughout the season she was also recognized as MVP at the Mennonite Brethren, St. Mary’s, Brandon and Lord Selkirk tournaments.  Coach Leanne Leskiw states, “Julia was a key component to the very successful season we had this year. She leads by example with her strong work ethic and her desire to be a complete player in all facets of the game. She has excellent speed to the ball and a court sense that is well beyond her years.
