Athlete of the Year

Karl Messinbird of Goose Lake High School in Roblin is the “AA” Male Athlete of the Year.  Karl participates in golf, volleyball, badminton, baseball, basketball, and track & field.  He was volleyball team captain, “AA” Volleyball Provincial All-Star and silver Medallist. As captain of the basketball team, he was a gold medallist, provincial All-Star, named to the Graduating All-Star Team and the All-Manitoba Team.  Karl also finished 2nd in the zone track & field meet, qualifying for the provincial championship.  He is a member of the Student Council and Drama club.  He also officiates hockey, baseball and volleyball.
