Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

Quinton Hart of the Duke of Marlborough Storm Volleyball team in Churchill is this week’s Tri-Star Rural High School athlete of the week. This 6’3” middle captained his team to the Zone 11 “A” Boys Volleyball Championship and a berth at the Provincial Championships. While at provincials he was named player of the game on two occasions. He also helped his team to a second place finish at their home tournament the Polar Spike. Coach Tim Brock states, “Quinton is an all-around leader both on the floor and off. He keeps teammates invested and is always there to pick them up when they get down on themselves. He has a strong understanding of the game and his determination put forth on the floor is one of the best I have seen as a coach”. This grade 12 student also competes in badminton, basketball and track & field.
