Morris Glimcher Student Manager Award

Kristine has been the varsity girl's volleyball and basketball manager for the last two years at Dakota Collegiate.  She has also been the team captain of the school Black & Gold Society for three years.  This society acts as volunteers for the school and other community groups doing a variety of duties including: acting as hosts and assisting younger students and seniors.  Kristine's managerial duties included responsibilities such as taking statistics, making sure all players were aware of tournament game schedules and practices, having the first aid kit and general team organization.  She showed enthusiasm, dedication and was a friend to all.  Kristine also took the lead role in organizing the school trip to Hawaii.  She wrote numerous letters soliciting corporate support and was the liason person to the parents.  Unfortunately, that trip was cancelled due to the September 11 tragedies.
