Grey Cup Legacy Male and Female Coach of the Year

The 2012 Grey Cup Legacy Fund High School Coach of the Year goes to Demetro Danyluk of St. Mary’s Academy. Demetro has been coaching at St. Mary’s for 25 primarily in Cross Country Running, Track and Field and basketball. His team captured a Provincial Cross Country title this year, as well as a golf championship in 2009. In addition to coaching, Demetro is an avid runner, having completed 15 Marathons, including 6 Boston Marathons. Demetro is a passionate individual who is a friend and a mentor to so many of his student athletes.
