Winnipeg Jets Alumni and Friends Hockey Scholarships

Alex Hammond, of Deloraine Collegiate, is a member of the Antler River Devils hockey team and maintains an academic average in the mid 90’s.  Hammond is a real character player and, besides hockey, participates on the Reach for the Top team and traveled to Ottawa as part of the Encounters Exchange Program.  He is also a member of the Youth Regional Round Table and the Deloraine Winchester Community Development Group.  He received the Coaches Award for team commitment and inspirational leadership.  He will be pursuing a career in engineering.
