Safe Sport Champions Event Details:

About: A day of guest speakers, professional facilitator, and interactive activities to learn more about Safe Sport (awareness, prevention, and action).

Our Facilitator & Keynote Speaker: Allyson Forsyth, a two-time Olympian alpine skier, 8 time Canadian Champion and a top 15 world ranked athlete  for nearly a decade, Allison is an athlete, advocate, and change maker. Read her full bio by clicking here.

Date: Thursday, February 9, 2023
Time: 9:00am - 3:30pm (Registration opens at 8:30am)
Location: Sport Manitoba

Who: Two (2) students and a teacher/chaperone per Manitoba High School.

Cost: FREE

Travel Subsidy: Mileage subsidy provided to all schools outside of City of Winnipeg limits.

Accommodations: Complimentary hotel accommodation (night of Thursday, February 8) provided to those students and teachers traveling more than 225km to the event venue.
