Scholar Athlete Awards Presented
The Manitoba High Schools Athletic Association, with support from Credit Unions of Manitoba, is pleased to announce the winners of the 2013 Credit Unions High School Scholar Athlete Awards. These $1000.00 Scholarships are awarded to four graduating high school student athletes who maintained a minimum 85% average and compete in at least two interscholastic sports. Other criteria include school, community and citizenship activities.
The presentation took place at an awards ceremony held at Government House and hosted by the Lieutenant Governor and Her Honour Mrs. Lee on Thursday June 20th. The Honourable Philip S. Lee, Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba, Mr. John Hamilton representing Manitoba’s Credit Unions, and MHSAA President Scott Kwasnitza, Superintendent of Lord Selkirk School Division, made the presentations.
