You don’t have to remind the St. Paul’s Crusaders that winning the city championship doesn’t always translate into similar success at the provincial level.

Two years ago, the Crusaders won the Winnipeg High School Hockey League championship but lost out in the provincial final to Oak Park.

Last year Oak Park won the city crown but could only watch as St. Paul’s beat the Vincent Massey Trojans for the provincial championship.
