Will meet Crusaders in AAAA high school boys' hoops final

It may not have looked quite the way the Oak Park Raiders envisioned it, but Friday night’s scrappy 84-72 victory over the Vincent Massey Trojans in semifinal action at the Milk AAAA Provincial High School Basketball Championships was more than satisfying.

 

The Raiders, the No. 1-ranked varsity boys squad in the province, survived the ejection of starting point guard Shakur Harris 2:31 into the second half to earn a spot in Monday’s final against St. Paul’s at Investors Group Athletic Centre. The No. 3 Crusaders, meanwhile, advanced with a 93-82 triumph over the second-seeded Fort Richmond Centurians.
