Athlete of the Year

"A"

Shayna Mathison of Hamiota Collegiate - played Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer and Baseball.  She was captain of her basketball team and co-captain of the soccer team.  She was an “Athlete of the Week” and a Graduating All-Star in both Volleyball and Basketball.  She was named ‘A’ Player of the Year for basketball and MVP at Provincials. She was the Sport Representative on the student council and participated in the schools drama production.  Shayna also volunteers at local fowl suppers and senior’s teas, for highway cleanup and score keeps at school sporting events.  She plans to attend Brandon University.
