Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Kaston Kaptein of the Sanford Sabres basketball team.

Kaptein has averaged 27.2 points and 15.4 rebounds per game while leading the Sabres to four big wins in their past five games heading into the Zone 4 finals this week.  Coach Hank Nyman states, "During the season, Kashton is all-basketball, all the time. He strives to build his game on a daily basis and rarely takes a day off from his regime". 

This grade 12 student maintains an 80% academic average.
