Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Ivy Bestland of the Sanford Sabres basketball team.

Bestland has had a phenomenal start to the season with the Sabres leading them to two consecutive tournament wins at the Stonewall and Ste. Anne invitationals.  Coach Kelli Sinnock states, "Ivy has averaged 18 points a game, and 12 rebounds this season so far. Ivy is a co-captain of the team and has been an incredible leader and role model".  

This grade 12 student maintains an 89% academic average.
