Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athletes of the Week are Mya Bonchuk & Chloe Ashcroft of the Birtle Falcons badminton team.

This JV Girls Doubles badminton team had an excellent showing at the Minnedosa Invitational Badminton tournament. They went 6-0 throughout the whole tournament to claim the JV Girls Doubles A-side Championship. Coach Taylor Madsen states, "Both Mya and Chloe are very strong multi-sport athletes. Their strong communication skills really show in a game and they push each other every practice to get better."

Both garde 10 students are excellent school contributors with Bonchuk maintaining a 94% average and Ashcroft an 85% average.
