Athlete of the Year

The “AAA” Male Athlete of the year (rural schools over 300, Winnipeg schools - 100-500 students) is Churchill High School’s Evan Gill. Evan participates in Football, Basketball, Rugby and Hockey. He was team captain for the Bulldogs Football Team where he was also selected as a league All Star. Evan was captain of his Basketball team, and was selected as an All Star in five tournaments, and as a first year hockey player, he was third in scoring on his team which won their Division City Championship. Evan was also a Lineman coach this past spring at the JV Football Camp and Assistant Coach of the Varsity Girls Basketball Team.
