Travis Hamilton of Glenboro School is the Student Council President, had a lead role in the school drama production, and is in charge of the grad slide show.  Travis maintains a 90% academic average and received the top mark in his division on the Provincial math exam.  Travis competed in golf, volleyball, basketball, curling, badminton, and track & field.  Travis was the low individual at the Zone 6 golf championship, and a member of the Provincial "A" Basketball and Volleyball Championship teams.  He was an all-star at the Provincial "A" Basketball Championship and is a graduating all-star in basketball.  Travis is also an active member of the 4-H Beef Club.  Travis states, "One of the major reasons that high school athletics are so important is because individuals learn so many valuable people skills. Through sports, athletes must display sportsmanship and fair play…..Through sports, athletes learn many life lessons such as how to accept winning and losing.  This can prove to be a very valuable skill in anyone's future….It is the experience of a lifetime and one most will never forget."
