Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Tire Recycle Rural High School Athlete of the Week is Ethan Kramer of the Killarney Raiders basketball team.

This 6’4” post was the MVP of the Raiders home tournament, and has averaged 24 points, 21.5 rebounds and 5 blocks a game this season. Ethan has lead the Raiders to first place in their league and a 16-4 overall record. Coach Terry Beazley states, “Ethan does everything the right way and is all you look for in your captain and best post player. He's highly skilled but still extremely dedicated to becoming a better player. Day in, day out, he's a humble, level-headed warrior. His outstanding play and unflappable demeanour are inspiring to everyone around him.

This grade 12 student maintains an 87% academic average, while also participating in volleyball and track & field.
