Winnipeg Jets Alumni and Friends Hockey Scholarships

Katherine was assistant captain and is a skilled player who is a true team leader. She leads by example and the younger players got to see what it takes to succeed at this level. You could always count on Katherine to be the boost the team needed when the game got tough. She gives 110% and never backs down, creating opportunities for both herself and her team. Katherine is very involved in school activities, she played volleyball, rugby, and badminton and competed with the cross country and track and field teams. She has also participated in the school’s musical and is a member of the school band. Katherine is a member of the Student Council, Yearbook Committee, and STEM club. She tutored students in math and is a RFMSCMP mentee and volunteers with the iCan Bike Winnipeg Camp. She manages all this and maintains a 96% academic average.
