Payworks Coach of the Month

Rob Smith coaches the Cross Country team at W.C. Miller Collegiate. This year Miller had two first place finishes at the Zone 4 Championships in both JV and Varsity girls’ positions. The JV Girls Team also captured the Zone banner.

At the Provincial Championships, the JV Girls team won the banner, a first in school history. Miller's Varsity girl’s runner also finished 4^th.

Rob has coached for the school for numerous years (Cross Country, Hockey and Track & Field) and is as dedicated to the students as you can get. His athletes work ethic matches his passion to compete. He excels at pushing student-athletes to put forth their best effort and excel in their sport. He is an individual a lot of our coaches go to for wisdom. It’s tough to put into words Smitty’s commitment to our student-athletes, but it's easy to say it is one that we should all try to match when coaching.
