Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Emily Lavallee of the Major pratt Trojans volleyball team in Russell.

Lavallee was an integral part in helping the Trojans team capture the Provincial AA Volleyball Championship for the second year in a row. She was awarded a Game Star twice throughout the tournament. Athletic Director Jay Thiesen states, "Emily was a beast at the net, both offensively and defensively, averaging 5 stuffs and 6 kills per match. Emily has recently committed to play volleyball next season for the University of Winnipeg."

In grade 12 she maintains a 94.5% academic average.
