Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Keon Epp of the Northlands Parkway Nighthawks volleyball team in Winkler.

Epp led the Nighthawks to the SCAC AAA Volleyball Championship.  He then followed that up leading the team to a fourth place finish at the Provincial AAA Volleyball Championships, where he was selected as a Provincial All-Star for his efforts.  Coach Pat Alexander states, "Keon has been our team leader not only in terms of how he plays the game but how he supports his teammates; how he approaches practices; and the presence he has on the court.  He leads by example and has been an excellent role-model for the younger players in our program to emulate.  Keon has propelled our team to many victories based on his intensity and work ethic.  A strong offensive weapon and an intense defender."

An honor role student, he maintains a 96.25% academic average while in grade 12.
