Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Jovi Wozny of the Glenlawn Lions hockey team.

This grade 9 goalie is sporting a glowing .930 save percentage, and 2.37 GAA, with 1 shut out. Wozny has led the Lions to 12-6 record on the season, good for third place in Division 1 of the Manitoba Women's High School Hockey League, while also helping the Lions capture 3rd place at the Glenlawn Heritage Classic. Coach Brad Nechwediuk states, "Jovi has faced more shots than any other goalie per game.  She is a relentless competitor who is always in a position to stop opposing team snipers!  With Jovi between the pipes for Glenlawn we are a threat to beat any team on any given day."
